BREASTFEEDING PROVIDES NUTRIENTS AND GOOD HEALTH TO NEWBORN BABIES

WHO (WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION) highly recommends complete breastfeeding for babies up to 6 months old and continued breastfeeding with the addition of nutritious complementary foods for up to two years or beyond.

It is always better to know the facts of breastbreeding before labor or pregnancy.
When your baby is born, try to give the first breastfeed within an hour.
Don’t afraid to ask if you need any help regarding breastfeedings.
Make sure you get plenty of water, healthy food and rest.

Burp the baby after a breastfeed.Take care of the baby stuff like diaper change, walks, baths.Ease the stress on your partner, make sure she gets enough rest and help around the house.

Support your colleagues while they were breastfeeding, it’s not always easy to balance work and being a new mom.
Give enough maternity leave for mom to get breastfeeding established.Make it easier for moms to return to work by providing time and a plate to breastfeed or express and store milk.
